Welcome to Cake vs. Bacon! We are a couple of home-bodies who can’t ever agree on how to best utilize our kitchen. He likes to cook and avoids all things sweet. His little one and I are constantly going through the sugar, chocolate chips and vanilla extract, and insist cupcakes are a substantial dinner option.

When we do get out of the house and away from the kitchen and our 9-5’s, it’s generally to enjoy our beautiful Pacific Northwest: hiking, camping or trying our hand at gardening.

Some of us like all things sweet. Some like to keep it savory. In this house, there’s always room for both cake and bacon.
